Thanks for all you’ve done! I was in a state of grief and my thinking was in disarray when I first spoke with you. That morning I had lost my dear Uncle Bill. I had 72 hours to get together a memorial of his life and get on a plane. The family was flung far and wide across the country, and his last wishes were to be buried in Arkansas. In fact the last time we were together there, he took me to the little cemetery near Harmony, where he wanted the services. It had been in the big creek behind the church there, that he was baptized over 70 years ago. I had 3 days to get everyone together, and my share of the work was to do the program. I came to you with a few tattered letters and a small jewelry box full of pictures, most of which were faded and wrinkled. They were all I had on hand, along with one of his old Bibles where he had marked passages, and given it to me.
Little did I know that in this short amount of time, you could put together a program using those bits and pieces. The program you prepared was beautiful, and so appropriate for him. He would have liked it if he’d seen it. The poems and quotes you used, were exactly right. Your arrangement of the pictures with so little help was truly amazing. It’s almost as if you’d known him yourself.
Beyond the quick timeframe and the artful work up of the information I gave you while in tears, was the effort you made, and I must let you know – the programs arrived in time and in order – the funeral home was impressed. You were great, and I will definitely recommend your company, Divine Glory to all in need.
